Since Informant offers several product editions, each with different features, you may need to know what edition you currently have. This is useful when comparing editions and can help with deciding whether to change your current edition to get additional functionality.

Find your edition
You can find your edition from within Informant:
- In Informant, click the Help menu near the top right and select About Informant.
- Your edition will be displayed below the Informant logo:
More about editions
- Legacy editions: We have three "legacy" editions: PS (Professional Services), CS (Campus Safety), and SE (Standard Edition). These editions receive bug fixes but generally don't get new features. If you are on one of these editions, consider upgrading to one of our newer editions to ensure you can get access to the latest features. Contact our team to learn more.
- Current editions: Our current editions are Essentials, Elite, Enhanced, and Enterprise. These editions receive bug fixes and new features.
