Use this guide to learn how to take screenshots.


Take a full-screen screenshot


To take a full-screen screenshot (everything on your screen):


  1. Press Windows + PrtScn on your keyboard. This captures the entire screen and copies it to your clipboard.
  2. Paste the screenshot into an email or a document with Ctrl+V.
  3. Send the email or document with the screenshot to our support team.


Take a screenshot of the current window


  1. Click on the window you want to capture to make sure it's active.
  2. Press Alt + PrtScn on your keyboard. This captures the current window and copies it to your clipboard.
  3. Paste the screenshot into an email or a document with Ctrl+V.
  4. Send the email or document with the screenshot to our support team.


Use the Snipping Tool


  1. Type "Snipping Tool" in the Windows Start menu and select Snipping Tool when it appears.
  2. Click on New in the Snipping Tool window.
  3. Click and drag to select the area you want to capture.
  4. Release the mouse button to take the screenshot.
  5. You can save the image directly from the Snipping Tool, or copy it to the clipboard to then paste it into an email or document.
  6. Send the email or document with the screenshot to our support team.
