This guide will assist you if you've purchased data migration services to migrate your cNet data to Informant. To learn more about the data process overall, see Data migration process overview.

What files are needed for a cNet migration?

For a successful migration from cNet, we'll need the following files:

  1. A backup copy of your cNet database (a Microsoft SQL Server .bak file).
  2. A backup of all file attachments.

These files can be requested from your cNet representative, who will provide you with secure file download links and instructions for how to download these files when you request a data export.

Download the files using the instructions cNet provides, and upload them to us via our secure file upload page: How to securely send files to our support team

Note: cNet generally only provides these files after you cancel your cNet plan. This means you should keep your cNet service active until you have purchsaed and are ready to implement Informant to minimize downtime when transitioning from cNet to Informant.
