Sometimes you'll need to know what version of Informant you are running. For example, you'll want to install the same version of Informant before you install Informant on a new workstation or device, and our Support Team may also request this information when working with you.


Here's how to find the version you are running.


Option 1: From the Informant login window

  1. Go to a computer where Informant is installed and currently working.
  2. If you are not in Informant, double-click the Informant icon on the desktop to open it.
  3. The Informant version number is displayed in the lower right corner of the Informant login window:


Option 2: From within Informant

  1. If you are already in Informant, click the Help menu and then select About Informant.
  2. The version number is displayed in the "About Informant" window:
