This guide will help you keep track of items to complete and the overall process from signing agreements to going fully live with Informant.

1. Complete the New Customer Information Form


As a new customer, ensure that you've filled out our New Customer Information Form, which allows you to specify a preferred go-live date, provide designated contacts for your department, and specify other preferences, such as whether you prefer to receive invoices by email or by mail.

2. Sign and return your contract/service agreement


Ensure that you've returned a signed copy of your Informant contract/service agreement to us.


3. Send payment


After you've received your invoice, submit a purchase order (if required) or send payment via check or ACH transfer to us (if you would like to pay via ACH transfer, please let us know and we will provide you with the necessary routing information).


4. Join a kick-off meeting with our team


Our team will schedule a short 15- to 30-minute meeting to give you and your staff a chance to meet our team, including your customer account manager, and provide an opportunity for you to ask questions about the implementation process.


5. Review our system requirements and pre-go-live checklist


Ensure that you or your IT staff review our system requirements and our pre-go-live checklist so that you are ready to go with anything that needs to be set up on our end when your implementation date comes up.


6. Schedule training (if applicable)


If you've purchased training services with Informant, remember to schedule end-user training with our team before you go live with the system. We'll provide you and designated users with access to our online training system, where you can familiarize yourself with Informant before it's installed and receive online training from our team.


7. Schedule an implementation date


Once you've completed the pre-go-live checklist, you'll work with our team to schedule an implementation date to install and set up Informant at your department. During implementation, our team will walk you through the initial setup of the system.


8. Start benefiting from your new RMS!


Once Informant is set up, you and your users will be able to start using it to enter records and run reports immediately.
