Before you can use the QuickTicket Android app to print tickets, you'll need to pair your Zebra printer with the phone and the app via Bluetooth.
Pair your phone or tablet with the printer (Zebra ZQ630)
- Make sure the printer has been charged and is turned on.
- Press and hold the paper feed button on the printer until you see a small Bluetooth icon flashing in the corner of the printer's display (usually about 5 seconds).
- Open your phone or tablet's Bluetooth settings and wait a few moments while it searches for nearby devices.
Note: If you don't see the printer after a few seconds, turn the printer off and back on again.
- Tap the name of the printer when it appears. Note that your printer may appear with name that is a long series of letters and numbers, but it can usually be identified by the printer icon that appears next to the name.
- If your phone displays a Bluetooth pairing request with a numeric code, check that the code matches the pairing code on the printer's display: if so, tap Pair on your phone or tablet, and press the button on the printer below where "Accept" appears on its display to complete the pairing process.
Set up the printer in the QuickTicket app
- Open the QuickTicket app on the phone.
- Tap the three dots icon (⋮) in the top right and select Settings.
- On the QuickTicket :: Settings screen, tap the three dots icon (⋮) in the top right and select Set Up Printer.
- If prompted, tap Allow when asked to allow the app to find and connect to nearby devices.
- On the next screen, select the printer that was paired in the previous step.
- Back on the QuickTicket :: Settings screen, tap the three dots icon (⋮) in the top right and select Save Settings.
